Can India fight back in the 2nd test?

Yes, India definitely has a pretty good chance of bouncing back in the next test starting from 31st July, if they take a positive approach towards the game, and play in the right temperament. India has lost miserably even before, but has also managed to fight back strongly on many occassions. Indian team one of the most inconsistent ones, such things can only be expected.

It can be certainly said that the Indian team doesn't lack talent. The presence of the experienced players like Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly, and Laxman makes it a formidable batting line up on paper. But in reality, the performance of these players was below the mark. All these batsmen need to play more responsibly, and each one is needed to make a decent contribution to the score. Also, the standard of bowling must improve-in order to win,our bowlers need to pick up 20 wickets in all! It isn't easy to beat Sri Lanka at their home grounds, but with a bit more confidence and positive outlook, hopefully India would atleast be able to provide a challenge to Sri Lanka from the next match onwards.

Of course but as I said in answer as to if they could come back in the 2nd innings of the 1st test, it will depend on how much the batters have learnt.  If they are now intimidated by the spin of M&M then there could be another capitulation ready and waiting to happen.  If they have learned the lesson and prepared to knuckle down they will have a good chance.

performance is doesn't matter, they are capable to play well,

the reason is the srilankans play well thats it , win of loss doesn't matter..

The are playing casual if the took every match as serious issue they will play well..
