  1. Anything is possible. It would be nice to see them get the chance.

  2. it can happen

  3. Most probably no............

  4. I don't think so, I mean they would give Bangladesh a run for their money (?) but they would never challenge over 5 days. The West Indies have been playing as a single team for a hundred years or so they have a huge tradition and would never compete separately in anything but their own domestic championship.

  5. No.

    pkn

  6. I cant really see Ireland getting test status over many other deserving minnows!! But it could happen!!

  7. proximity to england will help to gain test status

best thing import players from england

  8. Test status can't necessarily be "replaced". If a team is deserving of playing cricket at the highest level, only then it can "earn" that right. It won't help by just increasing the number of teams because there should be a high standard of the game. No one wants to see one sided games & I'm still even not much convinced by the test status of Bangladesh because they have performed poorly since & because of that ICC has become even more strict in granting test status to other developing teams.

  9. It is hardly likely to happen, though it would be the best thing for them. As an Irishman, I would like to see it, we do have some good players there including a couple of ex Aussies, but I don't think we have the depth of players or interest in the sport to maintain a constantly good team in world cricket.

  10. It can happen! Zimbawe isn't doing well, so why can't ICC give a chance to Ireland??? They should also get a chance to prove themselves!

  11. yes

  12. No!
