He can, but it's not going to be easy. I really hope he does make it this year though. It would be weird to watch the chase without him in it.

Mathematically he can still make it, but I dont think he is going to rebound enough to get back into it.  He has had too much bad luck this year.

oh yeah i heard the other day that like 3 years ago he was 25th in points and came back and made the chase and plus he is to good and has to good of equipment to be held back.

Oh yea, dont count him out just yet. Robbie Reiser is going to be helping Chip Bolen out some so it will be like old times!

I hope he does. I am a die hard kenseth fan. You have to remember a few years back, kenseth was in the same boat as he is now. He was 23rd in points at this point in the season, and he made a charge during the summer and ended up 9th after the richmond race. Kenseth hasn't run too horribly bad this year, he has just had terrible luck. He cut a tire at talledega, where he was running good. He cut a tire at phoenix only 40 laps in, and didn't have a chance to move forward, and last week he was in the wreck. I know he has the ability to run good. He is one of the most patient drivers in nascar. I think he can do it. But he can't have many more bad finishes. I think he is 200 or so points behind 12th. If he can finish in the top 5 the next few weeks, he can possibly cut that margin in half. It would be very nice to see the 3 roush boys in the chase. (Jamie McMurray won't be with roush much longer)

I think he is due some good luck, and he is to good of driver not to move up in the standing

I think a driver of Kenseths caliber still has a chance. It's not a great one, and he's going to need to turn it around fast, but it is possible. He and Jimmie Johnson are the only drivers that have made the chase all the years of existence.

Yes, because Snake is cheering for him... I'm rooting for him too, I like Kenseth. He is just having some racin' bad luck, and I hope it turns into good  luck REAL soon..

Absolutely.  There are a LOT of laps between now and the next Richmond race.  And if he cant run well enough over the summer to make the chase,  he couldnt win the chase anyway.  Geez, at some point, the luck has to get better.  He really has had strong top ten cars almost every race.
