Can Killdeer ....?

Question

is it possible for a Killdeer to have blue legs? I have many in my back yard and about 10 chiicks running in it, one got cuaght in grass so i helped it out, it also had blue legs.... Is this normal or did i just find a discovery?

I just googled images of "baby killdeer" and I saw one with blue legs---so it seems to be common if not the norm.

No this is normal. the legs change colour as they mature.
