  1. Yes

I can almost Guarntee he will win again

  2. sleepy Kimi is wide awake now.he will be back with a vengeance tearing up the track winning races and standing on the podium with that Kimi smile on his face(a smile that actually doesn't resemble a smile) GO KIMI!!

  3. Yes, he can. He has the potential and he's definitely got the right car to make it happen. He just has to avoid making any mistake, no matter how small because it can end up being very costly.

  4. Yes of course!!!

  5. He's certainly capable, but he seems to be less than 100% focused this year. Massa has been quick, and His Royal Hamilton always seems to be locked in and ready to race. I think the points race may be more interesting than the actual racing this year.

  6. He definitely can and deserves it more than Alonso, or Hamilton.

He probably should have won it more than once, and it is the infamous Mercedes engine that the blame lies with.

Three Putt everyone has off weekends, no matter how much money they make. As I recall, Alonso made more mistakes that weekend, and he earns nearly twice as much as Kimi per race. You can't say that he doesn't deserve to win it after an off-race.

  7. Why not? he should have won more than one title by now if not for reliability issues with his previous team. Kimi has got what it takes to win races and titles. But he also needs some luck as well. After Monaco, I'm sure Kimi will get back his concentration and do his best at Montreal and at all races. (He has to if he wants to retain his title)

  8. call me crazy but i think its gonna be Ferrari and BMW battling for the title.. but pretty sure Ferrari is going to win, its just that BMW is being very consistent and is always knocking on the door of the race win.. and since now the race is mostly down tot he pit strategies i can see where BMW's super computer can help them lol

and ya kimi deserves the title, last season he won more races than Hamilton. kimi stays cool and doesn't let things get to his head.. Hamilton however.. i think he does let things get to him and that affects his performance

  9. Of course, I mean, for him collecting as many points possible is his goal. There is chance he can be better than Alonso, since Alonso seems to stuck in Renault. Last year win is not enough for him. He always want more.

  10. He can, but I don't think he deserves it.

Before anyone gives me thumbs down for criticizing him after Monaco, read some of my old posts!  I have always said he is massively overrated.

There are some weekends where he just looks slow, dazed and off the pace.  For a guy making the money he is and taking over as the presumed No. 1 at Ferrari, that inconsistency is not acceptable.

  11. Yes he has the potential and a best team with him so why cant he

  12. He could, but I don't think he will. Hamilton and Massa look much stronger. Give Kovalainen a season or two and he will get better than his compatriot!

  13. This was an answer I posted on yahoo just after Kimi's title win in '07 as to whether Kimi deserved to win the title?:-

'I think so. At one point it looked as though another season was going to be hampered by failing reliability issues. I think this must have affected him psychologically, along with Hamiltons runaway rookie success.

Imagine what a test it must be, to have proved that you have the potential to be quicker than the likes of Schumacher and Alonso never mind past team mates DC and JPM, but to never be sure what the car is going to do next - or what is going to break on it next - seriously demoralising!.

I think Kimis all out method of driving is particularly testing on the cars - compare DCs and JPMs retirements in the same cars. With Scuderia Ferrari's inherent tradition of tough and reliable thoroughbred F1 cars (although I'm a Mclaren fan) and now that he has won the F1 championship, finally he has achieved some kind of stability - the only thing that was lacking in his F1 career.

It goes to show, in life as long you persevere, luck will eventually swing back in your favour. It did in a big way for Kimi, don't forget he won 7 races in 2005 with no title and inspite of Pique's '86 title win, nobody has done it from being ranked 3rd going in to the final race.

Now Kimi can finally lay the demons from previous seasons to rest, expect Kimi to be consistently super competitive in 2008. As for Lewis Hamilton, he is something else, as though he is out of a time machine - returning from the future. He has all the ingredients and no doubt he will have the most exceptional career of all time - although on a good day Kimi may still prove to be quicker.

Felipe Massa is a serious contender and a sublime talent. Expect a fading Alonso in '08, still it's going to be 1helluva season!. The least explored talent out there has got to be Jenson Button, maybe one day he will get his opportunity, like Mansell did'.

Yes, of course, he will have to contend with Messrs Massa and Hamilton who will no doubt have a lot of say on the matter.  Even though he is going through a lean patch, I still think he carries forward those credentials to win, as I believe he has the most important ingredient 'mental toughness'.   I believe he is battle hardened by the '03, '05 and '07 seasons.  Compare how Alonso has crumbled relatively after not winning the title.  Although we will have to see how he comes back in '09.

  14. iff so he better drive better than he did in Monaco
