Can Krzysztof Soszynski extend winning streak at UFC 140? – UFC Special
The Polish mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Krzysztof Soszynski will be in action on December 10, 2011. He will be in the ring against Croatian Igor Pokrajac at UFC 10. The event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)
will be held in the Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario. For the Croatian MMA fighter, this will be his sixth UFC fight after he made his UFC debut in UFC 103 in September 2009. It was an unsuccessful debut as he lost the bout to Vladimir Matyushenko. On the
other hand, Soszynski, made his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale in December 2008 when he defeated American MMA fighter Shane Primm.
For Soszynski, nicknamed the Polish Experiment, his next fight could be a milestone one. He would try to overpower his opponent in the fight and earn another win. Securing a victory over Pokrajac would mean that Soszynski would
earn a third straight win. For the Polish MMA fighter, earning straight wins has not been difficult. He won five straight fights from February 2004 to April 2004. From July 2004 to June 2005 he earned six straight wins. His third consecutive wins came from
June 2006 to November 2006 when he won four bouts. From December 2007 to May 2009 he won six fights in a row.
Soszynski, who made a successful MMA debut in September 2003 by beating American MMA fighter Matt Lafromboise in Absolute Ada Fights 4 in the first round, would be looking forward for a win at UFC 140. The Polish MMA fighter lost
the bout at UFC 116 against American MMA fighter Stephan Bonnar otherwise he would have secured a four fight winning streak. At UFC 140, if he wins his bout against Pokrajac, then he would get a third straight win. Last year he also won a fight at UFC 122
against Croatian Goran Reljic.
This year, however, he has won a single fight against the American MMA fighter Mike Massenzio at UFC 131, which gave him his second straight win after facing two losses at UFC 102 and UFC 116.  The Polish Experiment would want
to get a hat trick of wins by earning a victory at UFC 140.
With twenty-six wins, eleven losses and a draw in his MMA career, he overshadows Pokrajac’s career statistics of twenty-three wins but Pokrajac’s eight loses as compared to Soszynski’s eleven loses could become an intimidating
factor for the Polish. But Soszynski would be motivated to get a third straight win and get the fight over with at the earliest.
