  1. Yes,you can take laptops on aircraft, they have to go through security channels seperately though

  2. yes but not during take offand landing,,,

  3. Yes, you can bring your laptop on the plane with you.  It will need to be turned off for taxi, take-off, and landing...but other than that, you can use it on the plane.

  4. I think it's ok but there might be a time during the flight when they are going to tell you that you have to shut it down due to signal interference with the plane...however, you should ask one of the ladies that fly with the captains....

  5. It's absolutely ok...in fact, I've seen people watch movies on them all the time on long flights.

Just be sure to know where the wireless Internet switch is and know how to turn that feature off while you're on board.

    Have a great flight.

  6. Hey, ya theres no bother bringing it on board. I have done it before. At security, you will usually have to take it out and show it to the officer, who will check it and the bag. You can use it except for take off, approach and landing. There may be other times you can use it also, but you will be told by cabin crew as needed. If you are travelling in any of the upper classes you are often offered the opportunity to buy an adaptor, which lets you plug it in as well, so the battery is not gone really fast. Hope you have a nice flight!

  7. From Emirates website:

Laptop computers, handheld computer games, cassette recorders, and electric razors may be used during the flight, though not during taxi, take-off, approach and landing.
