Lakers went to the Finals last year, which is a huge improvement from 2007.

Maybe.  I would like to see a James/Booty V Kobe/MC (or Josh?) 2 on 2 match up.  You and Booty can sit on the sidelines asking each other stupid questions while Lebron takes old man Kobe to the hole.

The Ws took a step back in an effort to build toward the future.  We have a stockpile of young talent (Wright, Bellinelli, Randolph, Biedrens, Ellis) that will be peaking when Kobe is headed for the exits and the Lakers are in disarray.  Who did the Lakers draft last year?  I forget.
