Are there any rughies worth betting on for this years Melbourne Cup which are sure to Qualify? Or any certainty?

  1. No. Leica Falcon will not win the Melbourne Cup. He hasnt had the preparation to win a 2 miler. Coming off a long injury enforced layoff, and with EI hampering his preparation and ability to run in lead up races, he will be nowhere fit enough to win the Cup.


  2. I don't think so, maybe if his prep was on schedule then was in with a good chance but not now.

  3. Roughies that will make it...

    If you look at the nominations, I'm sure you can work it out. At this stage, its anyones Cup.

    As for Leica Facon, he will be lacking in race fitness. He's been vaccinated, but whether he gets over the border remains to be seen.
