based on last year no. but shawn marion is getting along well with the team, and wade's shoulder is almost 100%. its possible.

There chances are great.  East is to early to say how good they will be and last year below 500 gets you in the post season.  I say great chance as long as Wade stays healthy.

idk they could but then again the hawks have alot of experience now and josh smith has definatly proven to be a certified star in this league. With Horford who can rebound with the best. Jarvis hayes isnt a childress but he is a very solid replacement.Acie law will be better and more experienced. Bibby still has a few good years left in him

The knicks will be improved simply because they have D Antoni which is the coach the q-rich blossomed under and will most likely be without marbury.They are definatly made for a suns type freeflowin offence which i think they will vastly improve under.

sixers,celtics,cavs,pistons,magic,wiza... will most likely be there as well.

The bulls are just a post scorer away from being there too.They have solid forwards,guards, if they can get a big man that can score in the paint they will be competitive.

IF Wade and Marion can stay healthy, they are a playoff team.

Dwayne Wade is seemingly healthy again, as he's actively playing on Team USA's roster. so under that assumption, with Marion and Beasley, I can confidently predict that they'll be playing in May.

but, I would put them in the bottom 4. Boston's still there. the Magic are a getting better each year. and Philly and Toronto got huge boosts with franchise post players during the offseason. the eastern conference is going to fierce this year.

yes they can and they will. people are forgetting how good dwyane wade can be when 100% healthy. he is the 2nd best SG behind kobe. add shawn marion and beasley to his team, then the heat should at least get a 7 or 8 seed in the weak eastern conference where the hawks made it with less than 40 wins.
