Yes, so far Manny Ramirez is11-for-17 with three homers, two doubles and six RBIs since joining the Dodgers just before last week’s non-waiver trade deadline. We got the big bat we needed for giving up almost nothing and paying nothing. Since Adrian Beltre, Los Angeles have been missing a home-run/RBI hitter and we got our answer in Manny Ramirez. If Manny keep hitting the way he usually do, the Dodgers will be a big threat in not only the division but in the pennant race as well.

So this is great for both the Dodger fans and Manny Ramirez. And Joe Torre is the type of manager that know how to handle a superstar like Manny and mediate his attitude with the clubhouse. So far, Manny is getting along with the team pretty well.

Put Manny in a line-up with Matt Kemp, James Loney, Jeff Kent, Russell Martin, and Nomar Garciaparra (if he stay healthy), the Dodgers will be a dangerous line-up and remember, they already were productive without Manny.

The Dodgers offense certainly have improved,, scoring an average of 6 runs per game since Manny came along. Once the Dodgers pitching get a little more consistent, Manny can vault the Dodgers into the playoffs.

He can definitely pump them up. But they need to tweak the line up, I think. Best bet for Manny to be a big help is for Torre to put at least one, maybe two, batters ahead of him who have the ability to get on base fairly consistently. Then Manny will clean up. THAT will rack up runs. Been a Red Sox fan for a long time. ManRam can't perform magic, but there have been plenty of times when he's come d**n close! Dodgers are lucky...really miss Manny.
