I was just wondering with the final part of qualifying coming up now and Lewis is going to take a 10 place drop on the grid, which means he will be starting outside the top 10.

Does this mean they will run him with only 1 or 2 laps of fuel for this qualifying session because when your outside the top 10 u can add fuel after the qualifying session ?

  1. You can't add fuel for the thid round of qualifying.

  2. No, because, if they take part in q3, they have to keep that ammount of fuel load.

  3. if they're NUTS maybe...

nope they wont do that very silly thing...

besides at Q3 drivers qualify using race fuel...

look at Kimi in French GP, he had save one lap of fuel by aborting his final lap in qualifying since he is already secure for pole position...

  4. No they can't. penalties are enforced after qualifying has finished so normal rules apply. what fuel he has on board is what he will take into the race.
