Can Mildew or Mold smell like cat pee? ?

If not what does it smell like, and how can i get it checked out? We have cleaned the entire house and it still smells like cat

Well have no idea where the first poster got there information at, but I was a professional cleaner. Usually carpet but did clean up after homicides, suicides and drug houses. Not the best job but someone had to do it and the pay was ok.

Anyhoo the drug houses have this very strong cat pee smell, it is nothing like just a cat can do. It gets into the wood itself. If just a cat take up all the carpet and pad, seal the wood floor.

But if it is from making illegal drugs (not saying you are doing this at all!! Many of these type of houses are rentals or were rentals) call the law and ask them who can check it out for a potential ex drug house.

These are all over more then people want to know. They are also very bad for people to be in!!

Hopefully taring out the carpet, patting and sealing the floor will work?

No, mildew and/or mold do NOT smell like cat pee.  Have you cleaned your carpets and upholstery?  Soft surfaces absorb odors very quickly.
