Can Mitt Romney give his delegates to either McCain or Huckabee?

  1. Mitt Romney has not released his delegates yet

    they are his to control till after the first round of voting or till he releases them

No.  He can release his delegates at which point they are able to vote for who they choose.  And he can endorse a candidate and recomend that his delegates vote for that person, but he cannot just give them to another candidate.  But by the time of the convention McCain will have all the delegates he needs.

  3. He can give them to Ron Paul, and get some REAL conservative clout and respect from the diehard Ron Paul supporters.

    After that, Romney can slowly become a strict constitutionalist. Yes, it will be a extreme makeover  for him, but he will look great in the end!

  4. Yes he can but he will wait until the Convention and use them to "negotiate."  That is, if Huckleberry is close he will probably give them to McCain and don't be surprised if you see Romney as the VP candidate with McCain.  BTW, Romney has more deligates then Huckleberry.
