Your astigmatism is probably a culprit but it's hard to say the cause in your right eye (since you say it's both).  Talk to your eye doctor about your symtpoms and see about getting glasses to wear only at night when driving.  At night people tend to become more nearsighted and often need a little extra help with their vision.
