David Nalbandian has opened with a win at teh Copa Telmex in Buenos Aires, but can the 28-year-old go all the way to the title? He’ll have the home crowd on his side.

Nalbandian looked even more out of shape than he usually does earlier against DGT.

Would fancy Ferrero to beat the big man should they meet this week.

The home crowd will help, but will it be enough after Nalbandian has spent so long out of the game? Probably not. The clay court specialists are out in force here – and the likes of Juan Carlos Ferrero have been turning their games on dirt for two tournaments now. It’s hard to see Nalbandian taking the title, but he should at least get through his second round match against Spain’s Daniel Gimeno-Traver.
