Can OPSM or other glasses stores change your lens?

Question

So say I bring them some glasses, can they just change the lens? I'm pretty sure they can but I'm double checking to just confirm.

And do you think they will do it if I didn't buy my frames from there?

One more thing is that how much would clear lenses cost?

Yes they will, but they might charge you a 'frame maintenance fee' to discourage you from using your frame again, they prefer you to buy a new one. It is also at your own risk if the frame breaks in the process. Clear lenses cost the same as prescription lenses plus a bit more for the GST (GST is not charged on prescription lenses), around $100 pair + GST.

They would offer the sevice but they just won't be as happy since the frames aren't from their store. They may also charge you quite a bit.

My frames are from one store and I got my lenses from another. The guy still did it for me with no problem.

It's all about money.
