given Obama's pledge to reduce our nuclear arsenals, pull back research on new weapons systems, and discount any military space programs despite the overt Russian aggression, the musings of Iran to launch a space program...is he truly of the character to face down such overt aggression, and do all necessary to protect us from another Soviet Union style cold war? I say he is incompetent at a time in history that will require more skill and fortitude than this weenie can muster. What say you?

  1. What Obama has going for him is

    1) Common Sense.

    2) He's not biased due to not having campaign advisors who are high-paid consultants to Georgia and Ukraine.

    3) He doesn't go around saying "bomb bomb bomb" so-and-so country.

So although Obama is far from perfect (I'd vote third party)he is better than McCain because he doesn't have a short and terrible temper, he is not as biased due to previous and current relations, and he is not a warmonger.

McCain says Obama would lose a war to win a campaign, but I think that's better than winning a war and bankrupting your country

  2. Could we do any worse?

  3. Any new president will improve our present relation with the rest of the world including Russia. The ability to lie and deceive Bush has is not in Obamas leadership nor upbringing, Bush is a war criminal the like of Hitler of Stalin, in addition, Treason like the 911 inside job Bush might had concocted will never be in Obama's agenda. Furthermore, Mc Cain will be  just another Bush 4 years.

  4. Either way, we're screwed.

  5. He will deal with Russian the same way Neville Chamberlain dealt with the n***s.

  6. Its an interesting point. Personally, I'd agree with what your saying (for the most part). The upcoming years are going to be very difficult years  for foreign policy (China emerging, Russia and post cold war states, Iran!, Hezbollah!, Israel and it's neighbors...). Do I honestly think that Obama is going to do a great job if he's elected into office, no. Do I think McCain is going to do a great job if he's elected into office, no.

I personally wish that there was a candidate running that wasn't either McCain or Obama, but was a mixture of both politician's policies. But alas, no such candidate exists.

Coming back to your question. Sure, Obama can lead us through these next few years, but can he lead us well? I seriously doubt that he can.

    Cheers!

  7. that remains to be seen.

  8. He cant Deal with his Wife let alone the Russians.

    Hard Line here

And he said about the Russians and Georgia......

If the Russians get to Atlanta that is where he will draw the line.
