Can Obama win with a European style socialist agenda?

Yes, he could win that way.

But since, like all liberals, Obama's just another variety of pro-capitalist, he won't do it.

Americans are ready for a socialist agenda.  Too bad the Democratic and Republican stooges for big business won't give us one.

I disagree that Obama has a European Socialist agenda. Since when is Europe socialist? European countries are democracies with a free market economy? Like Europe the US has control over certain segments of the economy like transport and energy.

I do believe Obama's change message and hope message should be replaced with mediocrity and stability.
