Question:

Can Ofsted Inspectors Be Human and Objective?

Am fascinated that Ofsted becomes 'OFSTED', and that it's only remit seems to be schools. It is amazing what a brand can do...

I must admit that I placed this q in the wrong category when I posted...mea culpa! I was not looking for words and wordplay. However, I am a newbie and am beginning to understand that words and wordplay is actually at the heart of this of this 'answers' concept . Now where was I...?

But maybe I am being pedantic?

  1. Given that OFSTED inspectord are human, it would follow that they cannot be entirely objective.  They use some objective data, such as test results and data about the social context of the schools.  However, other judgements such as standard of pupil behaviour and standard of teaching must be based on judgements which are to some extent subjective.
