  1. any bowl isn't anywhere NEAR big enough to even keep one oranda, let alone breed them.

    try a 30 gallon.

    for ONE fish.

  2. Nope. There is no way you could maintain the quality of the water to the point that the fish would want to breed. They would have to be 2-3 years old because that is when goldfish become sexually mature, but by then they are 4-8 inches in size and probably won't fit in a bowl.

Here is a website on how to do it properly:

  3. Yes, you can use a planter base or a flat planter and if I understand your question , your talking about "pot bowls" that are about 40 - 50 gal and made of Tera cot ta.

For keeping the fish in the US i would just use a pond buddy

  4. Orandas need a 30 gallon tank for 2. They have to be at least 4 inches long and 2 years old. Goldfish live up to 20 years, but not nearly that long in a bowl. Plus the only thing you could breed successfully in a bowl would be live bearers, but that's not a healthy environment for the fry. They don't even make breeder bowls. They do make a 40 gallon breeder TANK that you could spawn your fish in.;)

  5. nope
