I know Oregon just lost Dennis Dixon and 1st round draft pick Jonathan Stewart. BUt from what I saw against Washington their defense is very solid. Patrick Chung is a ball hawk. The offense isn't stagnant but neither is it that explosive. the 2 wide recievers #4 and #6 are blazing fast and the running backs Jeremiah Johnson and legarrette blount are a nice tandem.

I know USC has depth at every position and they play the Ducks at home but do you think the Ducks stand a chance?

  1. Maybe not Oregon, but UCLA was looking pretty tough against the Vols!

  2. Sorry but from what I'm seeing right now, USC can't be beaten. Maualuga at MLB who can probably a top 5 in the NFL draft can't let anything go through. Their defense is at the top right now. Just the score from the first game just gave the teams something to be afraid of. USC's offense isn't that great last year but with the running backs and mark sanchez back, their team can almost be complete. Probably with a huge amount of luck, USC can go undefeated.

  3. To be clear, no. I actually like Oregon, my buddies and my cousin played there but USC is in rare form early. Oregon will have major problems getting past Arizona and UCLA.

  4. Honestly, I would love to see Oregon do it but I think it would be a hard fought loss for them.  USC is just way to strong right now.

  5. Highly doubtful.  The Ducks will be fighting for 3rd place at best behind USC and Arizona State.

  6. Not a chance!!

  7. Do you realize how Godly SC's defense is this year? They have the best Linebacking Core in the Nation, with a solid D-Line, and prolly the best Safety tandems in the Nation with Taylor Mayes and Kevin Ellison. And the Trojan Offense ain't to shabby either. Sorry to say bro, but the Ducks don't stand a chance against the Trojans. Without Dixon and Stewart the Ducks don't look so hot this season. Patrick Chung is good, but not as good as Oregon fans make him out to be, he wasn't a stud in HS. Thats why SC passed up on him and got Taylor Mayes. I'll be surprised if Oregon can finish 2nd in the Pac-10 ahead of UCLA and ASU.

  8. NO

    USC is NUMBA 1!!!!!

sorry, I know I just lost your vote...but I was thrilled to hear the Trojans jumped 2 places ...

    and over the beloved Ohio...

  9. Hard to say, PAC-10 teams normally destroy each other's team... Even the weak teams in their conference have known known to repeatedly upset the strong ones in the same PAC-10 conference...

  10. USC has a ton of talent, but that lax Pete Carrol coaching style costs them ta big upset or two every season.  They're over-rated again this year and Oregon looks like their going to be pretty good.  d**n right the Ducks can beat them.

    Oregon-30

    USC- 27

  11. no i think arizona state has a better chance but the ducks did look  good last week

  12. No. I am not sure my beloved steelers could beat that team.

  13. I see what you are saying but USC has a few things going for them. The obvious is, like you said, they have a lot of depth. Secondly, that defense was stupid on Saturday. I know Virginia lost some key players on both sides of the ball, but for the defense to do what it did in the first game, 3k miles away from their comfort zone, is saying something. Thirdly, they have blown a NC shot 2 years in a row. They have that chip on their shoulder now. They got a shot in the arm with Mark Sanchez. In my OPINION I think this team will surpass the Leinart Bush & White days.... of oh so long ago.

  14. i see what u guys are sayin about USC but i think that if Oregon puts their best football out there they may be able to win by like a field goal
