Can PAL PS3 games work on a multi-system TV?

Can a PAL PS3 work on a multi system TV? I bought my ps3 a month ago. My old TV is NTSC. So, when I start my Ps3, its color is black and white. But when I play one of my NTSC PS3 game, it turns to its original color. But when I play my other game (which is PAL), it turns to black and white again. So, is it advisable to buy a multi-system TV?

a multi-system TV works on PAL and NTSC too so it should works fine with your PAL games.
