I am trying to see if my PS3 will play on my TV through HDMI. And i want to connect my dazzle capture card to the AV cables to record. Would this work?

  1. if it does it would have to be able to have 2 outputs at the same time so i'm going with a no.

  2. I've checked the PS3 and can't seem to get it to display through both HDMI and AVI, cable splitters FTW, playing through the Dazzle preview screen on the PC monitor is near impossible as there is a 0.5 second delay from the PS3 to the Dazzle.

  3. I'm pretty sure that the console disables the other a/v output.

Try it, i don't think you can hurt anything.

  4. It sort of does while it goes through the Display setting wizard after you either turn it on the first time, or reset the Dispaly settngs, but its only like that until you set up the Display wizard.(this is in 420p going out both the AV and HDMI)

Why dont you have the AV plugged into the Dazzle, while you watch it on your PC screen?
