Can Pakistan survive as one country?

With growing resentment in Baluchistan and NWFP, it seems like close to Balkanisation of this country created by British. What should US do to prevent nuclear weapons going in the hands of Islamists if Pakistan breaks apart?

The erstwhile Soviet Union pulverized and so shall India with dozens of independence movements gaining strength everyday.Pakistan is a strong country with nuclear deterrence to keep hegemonic India on its toes.Stop dreaming and start to live in a world of realism.

with God blessing...despite its people Pakistan has still survived..n will in the future.....untill or unless people of Pakistan get united within the country...with only that reason Pakistan can become a good independent country.....the reason Pakistan is going through so much of problem is that we have this thing of pointing out fingers at people saying he is mahajir. he is Punjabi, he is baluchi...untill or unless we call ourself Pakistani....then only we can survive in its real meaning......charity begins at home...we should solve our problems on our own....
