Can Papa John's, with there "Better Ingredients," stand up against Mom and Pop Shop?

Papa John's better ingredients will do if I am ordering delivery, I think it's the next best thing to the Mom and Pop pizzeria. I'd rather have Papa John's than Pizza hut or Dominos I think their pizzas seem to be of better quality than Dominos or Pizza Hut. What do you think?

Of course it can due to one simple factor customer loyalty there are pizza place here that have been family owned for generations most beat Papa John's by light years. There's a local place in my town called Mr C's they make their own everything sauce, sausage, Parmesan butter crust etc...Every slice is indescribable bliss And quite frankly makes be hungry for it just typing this..

Small restaurants like that become somewhat of a family tradition and getting a seat in this place on a Saturday is a camp overnight affair :)..

So yes a mom and pop can compete against a franchise and win provided it's good the owner is friendly and present and the service and food rocks..

That being said it's time to eat :)...

Papa John's isn't the quality it used to be; but it is still better than the others if you get meat toppings.  I don't know what this stuff is places are calling "beef topping" its like fake fillers with mystery meat.  So I just get cheese and maybe sometimes a vegetable.  But a mom and pop pizzaria; that a whole different story.  A good one is the secret to a happy life! lol  I still remember the best one, Leoni's close to Camp Pendleton in California. I still have glorius flashbacks of that place.

I have worked at a few different pizza places. I recently started working at Papa John's and I was amazed at how fresh their ingredients are. I would say that Papa John's would win over a mom a pop store since they can take advantage of economies of scale(they can buy bulk). Mom and pop stores likely would have to pay higher prices for the same quality. Papa John's is VERY fresh!!!

Oh yeah, neither of the above skimp on toppings. Pizza Hut, never again!
