Can Pond Slider turtles eat raw shrimp?

I want to know because I just wanted to give it something other than Reptomin.And yes,I do feed it Reptomin.My Pond Slider is old and it's huge.So,can i?

  1. umm .... probally not, but its worth a shot.

    depending on if its a baby or not you should buy it pellet food from the store till it gets old enough to eat goldfish.

  3. no. if you go to the pet store you can buy it like little half inch green logs for it called reptomin floting stickes

  4. yes i worked at a nature center and we fed them shrimp. they tore em up!

  5. yes yes yes- shrimp, krill, crickets, snails, earthworms, mealworms, bloodworms, minnows, kale, mustard greens, collards, turnip greens. You will also need to dust the crickets, shrimp, worms, and krill with a calcium supplement, like rep-cal. Also provide cuttlebones for extra calcium- real important.
