I am planning on getting a bunny and i built it a small castle and everything for it to live in. which is my room. I had a bunny before and it has passed away from a heart attack of firewoks on the 4th of july. T^T

Now i am responsible and has researched everything I know about rabbits and i have hidden and put ALL electrically cords locked in my closet. And i put dangerous things like scissors away. But the only thing i need to know, is that is it okay for it to live in my room without a cage? Like it can roam my whole room 24-7 with my supervision, but not all the times, so im worried it might get in trouble in SOME way.

what else do I have to hide? help! please!

  1. It will probably pee on your bed.  Maybe you could cover it with a plastic tarp or something.

    It leaves marbles everywhere.

But if you can handle the potty issue, and keep all cords and other dangerous things secure, why not?

I used to let my rabbit run around the house a lot, when I was around; I just had to clean up after him, and once he bit the phone cord in two.  Fortunately a phone cord has hardly any current.

The rabbit never got into my candy bars like the rats and hamster did.

  2. Yes, just litter train the rabbit and bunny proof the room like you said.

  3. Yes you can.But you can little train it like a cat!Its awesome to havea  new rabbit!I have two of them be carefull there lots of things about them i didnt know.

  4. no they need a place to be safe and feel safe just like dogs need their kennels to feel safe i would put the bunny in it when you not able to watch it
