Sorry to say,,the only way that the problems of the poor will be resolved ,,is to raise them up from their situation..NOT by a hand out but by a hand UP..As fellow human beings,,we are obligated to act in a fashion,,which will level the playing feed so to speak,,and present the opportunities and make them available,,so to improve their condition.. We are NOT inherently selfish and self serving,,but since it has been promoted by many conservative people who think the only answer to every thing is to let the markets thru capitalism work and everything will work itself out.. Just as we find ourselves today,,unless your rich or Big Business,,you have all but been stiffled and taught to take everything or all you can,,regardless of your fellow man.. Our leaders believe ,,the ends justify the means,,no matter what,, and the only other consideration is the 'Bottom Line'!!        SOLOMON
