  1. Except Sachin other 2 not qualitfied as we have seen in IPL matches

  2. no

  3. No, I think that they will be ruled out of the ODI squad for Asia Cup as well. Sachin is still suffering from his groin injury, which has probably aggravated during his brief appearance in the IPL, and so, it seems that he won't be fully fit in time to join the Indian team for their Asia Cup campaign.

The selectors have already made it clear that they want to build up the team India for the future (aiming at the 2011 WC), and as such, there isn't any place for oldies like Sourav dada, Dravid, and Laxman in the team. They aren't likely to change their policy. Moreover, most of the players of the Indian team, including skopper MS Dhoni is reluctant to see the Bengal tiger (Ganguly) in the squad, and this factor definitely has an influence in the team selection. Same is true for Laxman & Dravid as well.

This young brigade of India has won the confidence of most of the cricket fans of the nation, who believe that their youth would make them victorious. Still, I feel that there is a huge lack of experience in the team, which would definitely be a setback for India. It would have been great to see the big 3-Sachin. Sourav & Dravid, as well as Laxman in the team. This is only my personal opinion. We have to wait to find out the outcome, but Sachin, Ganguly and Laxman most likely  won't form a part of the Indian team chosen for the Asia Cup.

  4. Probably not.

Scott, you call others thick! Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? Sachin is not best in the world, that honour goes to Hussey in Tests & Smith in ODIs. Why can't you get it through your head that Sachin is getting older & may never be no. 1 again?

  5. nope..they should not be selected

  6. can't say anything about laxman but sachin and sourav must be selected for ODI's

  7. No. Maybe sachin gets a chance but he's too old now. About ganguly no one is sure in which match he plays well. And laxman is too slow to make a run.

  8. Laxman has zero chance of making it to the OD team.  He has been given chances and he is just not suited for that type of play, though he is a good test batter.

Ganguly has more of a chance, but he will not be picked, nor will he play in ODIs again.

Sachin will still play ODIs and will play in the Asia cup.  It remains to be seen if he can continue till the world cup in 2011.

  9. No..India is  looking for Bright Future

  10. well sachin is indias best player, dravid is indias 2nd best player. Sachin is the best player in the world. Why are people in this site so thick.

  11. I think they will be overlooked for the young players.
