Yes, I think he could. Scottie Pippen was an excellent defender, especially on the perimeter. His arms were long and he used his length so well that it would be hard for even a guy like Lebron so strong and quick to get past a guy like Pippen without getting his pocket picked. All Scottie would have to do is stay in front him, if he does that Lebron will pull up for the jumper which you'll take as a defender everytime. Lebron does it all the time.

Lebron may be one of the hardest people to defend, but once he loses his athleticism, what will he have left? He has no mid-range or long-range shot, and he has a poor free throw percentage.

No doubt.  Pippen was a great defender.  He would just have to keep LBJ out of the lane.  LeBron would of course try to bully him, but Pippen would have no trouble with that after putting away the Bad Boy Pistons.

Given that they play in the time of the 90's where Scottie can use the hand check... If they play in today's rules and the league employing the rules "geared towards offense" then LeBron is literally un-guardable. With LeBron not yet developing a consistent jump shot Scottie will hound him out in the perimeter, with the hand check Scottie can push him outside then limiting his effectivity.

Scottie is one of the best perimeter defenders that ever played the game. Unfortunately if forced to play in today's league Pip will have a difficult time guarding LeBron with all the physicality packed in LeBron's body your asking for severe body ache man, another thing without the hand check, Pip would be assesed with so many fouls trying to hold LeBron down.
