Can Sentinel Spectrum be used with Advantix?

Question

I currently give my dogs Sentinel Spectrum once a month for flees, heart worm, intestinal worms, tape worms and other worms. A friend suggested that Advantix was really good for ridding dogs of flies (as well as flees and mozzies) and as this is a huge problem for my dogs I was wanting to give it a try. As Advantix does not treat heart worm and other worms, I need to find a product that is safe to use with Advantix that treats all types of worms including heart worm. Is Sentinel Spectrum safe to use with Advantix?

Yes. Especially during peak flea seasons, your dog may pick up adult fleas. If your dog is on SENTINEL® (Milbemycin oxime/lufenuron) Flavor Tabs®, those fleas will die in a short time. But you may choose to use another product with SENTINEL Flavor Tabs to speed up the elimination of these fleas. There have been no safety risks identified when using SENTINEL Flavor Tabs with other flea control products. SENTINEL Flavor Tabs have been extensively tested and used by millions of dogs all over the world. SENTINEL Flavor Tabs are approved by the FDA* using strict standards similar to those for human medicines. SENTINEL Flavor Tabs are even safe for puppies as young as four weeks, weighing at least two pounds. As with other heartworm preventives, dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to using SENTINEL Flavor Tabs.
