  1. I'd be very surprised if any team showed an interest in Kemp.  He didn't know how to play basketball when he was younger...

There's a big difference between being in shape for whatever league you supposedly saw him in, and being in shape for an 82 game NBA season.

I doubt that many teams will be lining up to sing him. I think he'll turn 39 this year, and he's up there with T-Mac and Melo as being among the stupidest players in NBA history. And like I said, he didn't know how to play basketball and wasn't helping anybody when he was 25, I doubt he's any better at helping  a team now that he's 38 or so.

  2. yes shawn kemp ( 17th pick 1989, nba all-star 1993 to 1998 )can play for celtics and team up with fellow 39 year old pj brown ( 29th pick 1992 ) to dunk all over gasol and odom. 38 year old alonzo mourning could also join the fun.

  3. It is pretty marginal for the Reignman to return to NBA (despite being motivated by the comeback of the Tractor lol).

Certainly he has a better chance than the Tractor coz he can hit some jumpers and possesses enough basketball IQ to play, but again he is getting much slower.

Playing for European teams is highly possible because he has enough size and skill to match against any big men.

One more point to note: Shawn Kemp is helping his son Shawn Kemp Jr. to become a future NBA player, who played quite well in leading summer camps.

  4. I've thought about it and that was about 2 years ago. I think his toughness could help the Lakers, but Other than that I don't think he would fare well in the NBA.

  5. i think the saw-a-clip should bang he-was-amazingly-

    and get still-has-better-hooters-than-ronald-McD...

    to rape so-called-guns :)

  6. no he sucks

  7. I think he's all done.

No comeback left in that dinosaur.

  8. He could make an NBA team, but not do any damage because the old man cant hang with the highly talented young guys

  9. hah nah, he's done...That drank got the best of him...

  10. Yes if he is in good shape and joins a slow-tempo team.

    His value:

    - mentoring younger big men

    - cheap backup

    - relief duty to give team's big starter few minutes rest

    - 6 fresh fouls to give

  11. he is signing for A Europe basketball team right now, but not an NBA team yet, he is not good enough

  12. when did you see that and where?  He was my fav player back in the day.  Id love to see him come back.  He could help some people im sure.

  13. Man I wish he could make a comeback and be productive. But I doubt it seriously.

Shawn Kemp was my favorite player when he was with the Sonics.

What clip was that? Could you send me a link?

  14. I think he should play in one of the Euro leagues.

  15. I've seen a small clip of him playing also, trying to get in shape for a return to the NBA.

Quite frankly, I doubt he can hang with the Dwight Howards and Chris Boshs of the NBA today for too long.

However, I think IF his jumper is still good, he can help a team as a role player. I recall shortly before he retired, Shawn's jumpshot was pretty good.

  16. i think no..

shawn kemp is maybe out of shape now,,

he is a good player for the past years but now against some athletic big man like howard , oden and any  other centers he will be a clown...

    hehehe

  17. Yes He Could Hand The Towels Or Something Like that

  18. sure, if the nba talent pool all of a sudden leaves to play for other countries.

  19. he's washed up son.. but i rather have him on my squad than Kwame Brown.

  20. Nope. He is done.
