I'm looking for a new "focus" type fund with a high turn around, a reputable manager, and lower fees other than CGMFX.

  1. There are funds which are pegged to the Dow Jones Indust Average, which is only 30 stocks. The etf DIA is one such example.

Most funds stress diversification. I'd be surprised if you can get such a fund with the major fund management companies. Rydex might have something.

  2. Most sector funds are non-diversified hence their purpose. It doesn't really matter that much as to the number of holders their is when all of the stocks are in the same industry. Some will do better than others, but if the sector is moving down, such as AG, all the stocks will fall too.
