Can Someone Explain Feedback on Ebay?

I have sold 3 items about two weeks ago, and all 3 buyers haven't yet left me feedback, and wont reply to my e-mails...what can I do?

Have you left them feedback.

E-Bay customers can no longer leave negative feedback and they have 90 days to post their feedback.  Although they can leave "nasty" feedback it will always come up as positive.

If I have sold an item I always wait for them to leave feedback first to ensure they are happy with the product they bought.

Do not worry too much about some people never leave feedback, afterall it is optional, if you are a new E-Bay User just a nice little e-mail explaining this to them and that you want to build up your feedback should be ok.

Stop sending mails to them for the feedback as eBay also shows them the reminder to leave the feedback as it will be showing to you when you log on to eBay. So don't worry about it and try to sell more.

cant do anything, alot of people have stopped leaving feedback since the feedback change came into place, others do it all at once every week or every month.

The problem with the feed back is it is not required for them to leave. I finally got some people to respond by asking them to help me grow as a seller and improve my customer service by filling out the feed back form. Also ask if the goods they received from you were what they expected and they feel they received them in a timely manner.

How the feed back works is if you buy or sell on eBay you are supposed to rate and be rated by sellers and buyers. As your ratings increase you are able to reap more discounts by selling on eBay. If they have not responded after three messages, try going ahead and rating them as a buyer or seller. That might get their attention and they might just go ahead and rate you. If not don't give up someone else down the line will rate you

theres nothing you can do, unfortunately giving feedback is not essential but more of a thanks for providing a good service or product, maybe they haven't been on ebay to receive your emails, also some people wait for the other person to leave feedback, so if you leave feedback for them they may do the same back

Don't bother to be persistent. The odd email to remind them kindly to leave feedback is as far as you should go if they haven't done so and then leave it and move on. Feedback is not a essential requirement on ebay. some ppl can be like this and not leave feedback. However.. they may just need some time for whatever reason.

I have also been trading on ebay and when no one gives feedback I have never chased them up with this but found that many weeks later they have returned to leave feedback for me.

There is also a reminder on ebays to do list for buyers/sellers to leave feedback. so its a matter of time for the individual to pick up but it cannot be forced by you. It is annoying but all you can do is leave your feedback and hope they leave you some +ve feedback for you. I think I have only ever had the one or two people who have never left feedback for me but what can you do? If you force them then they might not bother leaving feedback, worst still they may leave you -ve feedback. So leave for a week/two after expected received date and then send a kind email saying 'hope the item reached you good and well, i have left some feedback for you. would be so kind and do the same for me. look forward. kind regards' and then leave the ball in their court.

if you don't get your reply's leave it and don't dwell on it there are always others that will leave you your feedback.

you dont demand feedback, you dont bug customers about feedback, feedback is not needed, they dont have to give you feedback. Before i got suspended (6 times) people would take 3 to 4 months and then leave it. The more you go on about it the deaper your digging the whole for yourself. They can turn around and say ok you want your feedback here you go: BAD SELLER
