My guinea pig Reesie, I've had her since June, I bought her when she was between 12, and 16 weeks old. I'm back in school now and I'm thinking about buying another guinea pig this week because I dont want Reesie to be lonely, (Reesie was the only guinea pig that the pet store had) I have no idea how long it's gonna take for them to get along or anything like that. I dont have months or weeks, I only have about 3 days to do it, can someone please explain to me how to introduce them to each other?

  1. Adopt, don't buy http://www.petfinder.com

There's info on introducing them here

  2. if you want your guinea pig to have a friend, get another FEMALE guinea pig (preferably younger) in a separate cage. have them in a playpen sometimes (SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES), and see how they interact with each other. if they start biting, put them back in their separate cages. and dont keep them together for too long, it might be overwhelming. just put them together for about 10-15 min a day, unless they fight with each other. then they probably wont get along at all. if they dont ever end up getting along, at least you have to cute little friends that love you, even if they dont love each other. hope it works out!

  3. Oh my gosh! I had two guinea pigs named Resee and Ellie, I had two before them also. Guinea pigs are great pets. Resee and Ellie were best friends, they were even sisters. Their owner left them so I adopted them. Resee passed away about two months ago and sometimes I can tell Ellie misses her very much. She'll be chasing someone in her cage it's kind of funny. I was thinking of maybe adopting another one, because Ellie sometimes seems loney. What I would do is maybe adopt one from the human society or something like that, and keep the out together for a little bit. Put some carrots our and some food, just see if they like each other. Try getting a girl or something.  :) they could be sisters!

    Good Luck!

    :]

  4. what i would do is

put one of them in a cage a hold the other one to the door of the cage so they can see and smell each other and see if the one in the cage approches the other

when they are used to the smell get a carrot and make one of them eat some of it and give the rest to the other and see what it does.you could then hold the both at the same time one in one hand if they start going crazy quikly put one back if they dont then you could then put them in the cage together but keep an eye on them just in cas but dont do all of this in one day spraed it out in the 3 days you have.

    good luck

  5. Ew,,you have pigs,why dont u eat them(Lunchinmeat,sausage, and many more)

  6. First of all, NEVER get 2 males, or else they will fight. If it is a female and a male, they will mate. Girl and girl, eh, duno bout that, I think they will be good together.

Edit: Msn, wtf. Why the h**l are you answering this question when you don't know what is a GUINEA pig? It's not a ******* pig. It's a GUINEA PIG. STUPID, get your ******* facts right.
