  7. Not exactly geography but ask which way a compass points when standing at the north pole? You are as far north as you can get, any step in any direction will be going south.  True answer is it will point toward the magentic north pole which is different from the true north pole.  Standing at the magnetic north pole, the field goes into the ground and through the earth's center so it should point down.  Never actually tried this though.

  8. What is the smallest country in the world?

It is arguably the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, which sometimes qualifies as a sovereign nation because it has its own customs and postage system.  Occupying an office building and surrounding yard in downtown Rome, it is smaller than The Vatican.  It is an outgrowth of the Knights of St. John, sometimes referred to as the Knights of Malta and the Knights Hospitaler.  It presumably is maintained as a charity, run by the Knights of St. John, who once built hospitals during the Middle Ages.  It continues to establish hospitals, and is connected with the St. John's Ambulance Association.  It is associated with the Roman Catholic Church, and is, for this reason, considered to be largely, though not exclusively, a Roman Catholic charity.  It has connections with the Anglican Church in the United Kingdom.

A lot of big time capitalists and super wealthy people donate money to it, including some Americans.  The Dole family is rumoured to be one of its supporters.

  9. Q: Which South American country has two capitals and what are they?

A: Bolivia; Sucre and La Paz

  10. "What land masses are joined by the Verrazano Bridge?"
