  1. inertia: resistance to movement. Newton's first law. a ball won't move unless you push it. in other words, the ball doesn't move if there is no external force acting on it. Another example is a ball that is already moving. When you push the ball sideways, it will make a curved path because it still tends to move in a straight way.

    acceleration: Newton's first law. When you push a ball, the ball moves and its speed increases as you push harder (stronger force applied will result in greater acceleration)

    interaction: Newton's third law. Equal and opposite force. Thus, as you push the ball, your hand will also experience a force pushing it backward. Another example is when you are stopping a moving ball, as you exert a force on the ball to stop it, you also feel the pressure caused by the force exerted by the ball at your hand.
