Can Speakers not made speciffically for a zune ruin one?

yeah i bought some speakers that said they were for a zune...but the package said ipod...and i have used them several times, and now my zune is broken ive only had it for a few weeks and didnt have trouble with it before. the speakers work really good so i hope they wernt the problem.

Anyone know?

  1. I doubt the speakers are the problem. A headphone jack is a headphone jack. The only way the would have an effect is if you tried to fit a Zune in one of those speakers that has a cradle for iPod since the ports are different on a Zune.

    If you have not passed the limit for returning it to the store, I would dig out the receipt and do that. If you are past the time limit then dig out the receipt and call Microsoft.
