Can Sugar Gliders drink or eat pure maple syrup? Would it hurt them?

I found some 100% maple syrup with no additives and want to know if I can give it to my gliders as a treat.

Too much sugar in maple syrup, I would not give it to them. Try some cubed melon or a few bits of carrot instead.

For special treats, you may offer your sugar glider a tiny bit of honey or real maple syrup dribbled over their food.
