  1. That boat is way too heavy for your car! Even if the boat is dry (no fuel/oil/water), your car will still be overloaded.

  2. Hi there how are you?  After reading the answers so far though I agree with some a strongly disagree with others.  I have had in my life 3 boats. My first one being a 1985 Skeeter Strada R90 with a 90hp engine. For which I pulled it with a 1984 Pontiac with a 4 cyl. engine. Your engine will have the hp and torque to tow it while on level ground only. BUT will not have enough for pulling up hills and pulling up boat ramps depending on the grade of the ramp. You will eventually burn the transmission up if you push the car to its limits or try to exceed those limits.. Due to your transmission being built and setup to propel a light weighted vehicle. Your cars brakes were not designed to pull things as in boats. Light things yes but not boats. No matter what length they are. Yes you will be able to tow this boat for a short period. But it will struggle going up hills and struggle pulling it up the ramp once you get the boat loaded back on. I went through 3 transmissions before it was all said and done. Now I have a 19' sport boat that I pull with my truck. I hope this has helped you. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    thanks

  3. No, don't forget you are also towing a heavy trailer.

  4. You would probably have trouble going uphill, but there's only one way to find out if your car can tow that boat. Good luck.

  5. Yes no problem but get the proper hitch put on it

  6. You're missing the two most important pieces of information - which subaru, and how much your boat weighs. A quick search of the web shows Subarus with anywhere from 1000 lbs to 3500 lbs towing capacity. A 16' Glastron, even with a 100 horse engine, has got to be around 1600 lbs. most of the subarus can handle at least 2000 lbs if they are recommended for towing at all, so you should be in good shape. However, if you *do* decide to tow, make sure you've got a good trailer with integral brakes or stopping that load could be problematic.

  7. No way.  Your Subaru does not have the chassis to pull it, let alone the horsepower and torque.  You need at least a V6 truck or SUV.

  8. haveing enough power to pull something is never as important as being able to stop what you are pulling.  I don't think your car is heavy enough nor has the brakes to pull a trailer of any kind let alone a boat and trailer.

  9. Moving it ok stopping it ???> Don't try the boat ramp> Or be safe doing so>

  10. not a chance hun buns
