Can Tiger strike back? Gain his peak form again?
Among the golf community, there is a million dollar question: will Tiger Woods ever reach the form of his golden era again, the time during which he ruled the world of golf completely.
For many experts, the answer of this question is “NO” but Tigers’ fan still have faith in him and say that he will surely regain his peak form soon.
To be honest it is very difficult for a player to return to his peak form after he has gone through a rough phase, involving scandals and a divorce in Woods’ case.
These things cause severe mental stress and in every sport, especially golf, one has to be mentally very tough to be able to perform well.
Extremely high concentration and focus is needed to bring the best out of a player but after what Tiger has gone through, it is extremely difficult to maintain one’s composure.
You might not see him performing the way he used to but surely there will be moments of brilliance from him.
Whenever he performs well in an event, his fans starts believing in him and that he will regain his peak form. However, the reality is that time does not wait for anybody.
In April, Tiger ended his two-year title drought when he won the Arnold Palmer Invitation.
However, in the next three tournaments he did not manage to register respectable scores and finished quite below in the standings.

Tiger Woods proved to be a man of his word, as he managed to come up with a superb performance at The Memorial. He played some unbelievable shots, especially the one on the 16th hole, which ultimately earned him the victory.
To be honest, when he gives such performances, it looks like that he is back with a bang. However, if one was to see an overall progress chart of Tiger Woods, they would infer that his results have been fluctuating.
He has performed extremely well in some of the events, whereas in some, he has only managed average scores.
Next up for the Tiger is the AT&T National at the Congressional Country Club, after that is the Greenbrier Classic and then the Open Championship in England.
If he manages to perform well in all these three events, not just perform well, if he manages to win these three events, we might see that old Tiger who used to rule the golf world.
Till now, we have seen quite a few positives from Tiger Woods, but still better shows are needed to further improve his standing.
The first thing he needs to do is to improve his putting. There was a time when Woods was one of the best putters in the golfing world.
He used to be outstanding with his putting. He used to put as if there is no pressure on him at all, and he was so calm and comfortable on the greens.
The “Tiger Woods” that the world knew was one of the toughest players on the course, mentally and physically.
Sadly, but yes we have not seen that Tiger on the golf course lately, he really needs to get tougher mentally, if he has to regain his old form.
Tiger Woods has a history of injuries and all sorts of injuries, yet he manages to stay fit and healthy.
If he can maintain his game, then surely, we will see some improvement and we might be able to see that old Tiger Woods once again.
