Can Tippmann A5 barrels and upgrades go with a Tippmann 98?

I am looking at buying an A5 that comes with a flatline barrel, 16" sniper barrel, and another sniper barrel. My freind has a custom 98, so I was going to give him one of my sniper barrels. Could you tell me if this works?

Nope they have different barrel threads, you can buy a adapter for it though, there only like 10 bucks then he could use the A-5 threaded barrel on his 98.
