  1. No.

Tortoises will eat bird p**p and even though the birds are not sick, they could be carriers of something that could make your tortoises sick.

Although they would eat bird p**p in the wild, its not like they live in the same room with birds and would not come across it as often.

  2. No, it will make the tortoise sick and will eventually kill the tort.

  3. if you want them to breed and create a hybrid slow flying, long living shelled red macaoise then yes.

remember that tortise from one foot in the gr---aaaaaa----ve.

    used to make me laugh.

  4. yes but the poor thing better move quick cos its gonna get poohed on real bad

  5. no the temp you need to keep a tortoise healthy is unsuitable for the parrots, you also have to consider the spread of parasites the birds and tortoises may look healthy but they can still carry things what may not effect your tortoise could kill a bird and vise versa, it is best to keep them apart, the Sharpe beaks of parrots could quite easily hurt a tortoise and even in the shell a parrot could try to get in to see what is inside the moving rock, causing so much damage to a tortoise, it may seem like a lovely idea and will look good but you have to think of your pets mixing birds and tortoises is recipe for disaster.

  6. I wouldnt. Parrots have a nasty bite and can take the head off your tort, not only that, they WILL get covered in p**p.  The torts may also have other dangers such as contracting parasites from the birds or visa-versa.  Also feathers are not digestible, so if your tort ingest a feather many problems can occur such as impaction. Your tort may even decide to ingest bird seed or even the poos of the birds. I would advise agaisnt doing that. Plus parrots prefer humid enclosures whereas the majority of torts prefer arid, dry environments.

  7. What?is this question for real??How are you going to maintain any temp or humidity in a aviary??Plus your tortoise would be riddled with various diseases in no time.
