Can Trouser-presses end world poverty?

A major cause of poverty is the failure to secure well-paid work. A well-pressed pair of troosers helps a candidate at interview. So, should the United Nations and Oxfam be shipping trouser-presses to Africa instead of what they are sending at the moment? I say, instead of the slogan 'Make Poverty History', 'Make Corby Trouser-Presses!'

Sell trouser presses in the Uk and physically take the money to Africa and give it to the people that need it. -Do not go through organisations which charge administration costs.

Sadly, an impoverished nation is a poorly dressed nation.  For some strange reason, sartorial splendor takes a back seat to basic nutrition, health care, and education.  But, once they do get to the point of trousers in every closet, a press in every dressing room is certainly the next step!  Cheers!
