Can U help me with one 80's song?

The song is from around +-1987, man is singing, i can whistle it!!! I don't know all the lyrics, but it goes like this: "used to be (or "yesterday"),... me can't be...all because...told because...believes my...begins to...told because... Thats all i know and sorry for my english. Thanks for your help!!!
