I always thought you needed to use Firewire to send more than 2 channels. Sweetwater's description states you can send up to 10 channel to your DAW at once. True or False???

Here's their blurb:

10-in/10-out 24-bit/96kHz audio performance

The Edirol UA-101 allows you to record and monitor all 10 channels simultaneously at 24-bit/96kHz, offering phenomenal audio power for your computer DAW studio. Or, use the UA-101 to record and play back up to six channels simultaneously at 24-bit/192 kHz for performance at DVD-Audio quality.

  1. USB 2.0 is just a bus

It supports up to 480 Mbits/s

    96,000 x 24 x 20 = about 46 Mbits/s
