  1. That depends...first off, you have to run it through wine for it to even run. Second, it depends on what the virus does...if it would delete/modify Windows system files, then it would do nothing to your Linux computer. However, if it ran as a background program that prevented your mouse from moving or something like that, then yes, there is a chance that it might run.


  2. Yes, but a virus run through Wine couldn't do any serious damage unless you run Wine as root so you got nothing to worry about.

  3. Many times the virus will not even run.
