Can Water Hyacinth be used to purify SwimmingPool water?

I Am planing to make a pool fillter with Water Hyacinth so i dont' get Algae.But the water has to be a little salty to prevent frogs and other organism to enter the pool. Because naturally frogs and others will not enter salt water RIGHT? SO my question is can this plant resist in salt water?

    Water hyacinth are tough but they are also sensitive to

    alkalinity. They don't do well when the pH gets much over 7.5.

    They are not suitable for creating a swimming pool as they need nutrients which make the water unsuitable to swim in.

    Anyway, salty water does not solve all of your problems in the first place. Having a saline pool is very complex, because the balance of salt has to be adjusted very precisely. (It's not just throwing salt in water, the salt in the water has to be turned into chlorine by low electrical charges in order to be efficient, this happens in nature as well)

  3. Yes, they are purifying the swimming pools, in ponds in some of the villages India, using Hyacinth.

  4. certainly not, coz dey r d most problamatic weed since dey grow n multiply within a short span. so if u use dem den u hav 2 bring some other species to get rid off dem!!! dont make ur pool more polluted
