Can We Leave Questions Open a Little Longer?

Sometimes a poster puts up a question and closes it out within a few hours. This means a lot of us don't get to see it or answer it, particularly if the question is posted in the morning on a work day and closed out the same afternoon.

It would be great if we would all leave our questions open for at least 24 hours.

Guilty as charged. I have posted questions and usally pick a best answer within 6-10 hours. I re posted some questions after friends would email me telling me they liked the question but never got a chance to answer. Good point Scott and I will leave any questions I put up for now on for at least a day minimum.

A question can be on here for as little as four hours but that does not give enough people a chance to answer it really especially since you have people from all over the place on here.  I usually leave mine on here for at least a few days unless I'm getting a lot of responses and then I'll extend the amount of days to a week to answer giving everyone a chance to answer.
